The new 2022 model has been upgraded from the old solid rear axle for an independent, sophisticated, and refined setup. Chevy’s new Magnetic Ride Control system makes the Tahoe ride even better. This system deploys electronically adjustable shock absorbers with near-instantaneous responses to the driving conditions. This system works with the adaptive air suspension for ride comfort that attains luxury-car levels. The standard engine for 2022 is the naturally aspirated 5.3-liter V8 developing 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The second V8 option is the 6.2-liter which produces 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Chevy also added the 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine with an inline-6 which delivers a 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
